JH Concrete Construction, Inc. was founded in August of 1993 by Jerry and Jack Holtschlag along with a crew of five. JH Concrete began by specializing in residential flatwork construction and eventually emerged into foundation work as well. By the late 1990's, JH Concrete Construction became a full service commercial concrete contractor, doing construction projects around the Quincy region.

In 1999, JH Concrete Construction, Inc. did the flatwork for Quincy's Wal*Mart Supercenter. Into the early 2000's, JH Concrete found great success doing more Wal*Mart Supercenters. JH Concrete has been able to continue this success with their history of providing quality work in the tight construction schedules that Wal*Mart needs. To date, JH Concrete has done 41 Wal*Mart Supercenters and Sam's Club stores and has a crew of over 45.

JH Concrete Construction, Inc. has grown into one of the largest concrete construction company in West Central Illinois. JH Concrete is capable of locating anywhere in the country and is also known for getting the project done ahead of schedule and done right the first time.
